There’s no doubt that Fedor can take care of things in the ring (octagon, circle, whatever) but it would seem he has no negotiating skill. If he really wanted he would be in the UFC right now. Now there’s all kinds of opinions on why he isn’t, but I say so be it. I suppose we’ll see him soon enough, especially if the hype builds for a showdown.
that’s also true. Fedor’s manager wants too much money. I heard that too. But Fedor said in an interview, it wasn’t about money. His manager however runs fedor. Fedor listens to his manager. Fedor is his manager’s b..i..t..c..h.
I read an article a while back that detailed some of the negotiation breakdowns that happened between Fedor and the UFC. The article said that the main reason an agreement couldn’t be reached was because Fedor’s manager wanted a full partnership in the UFC, ie, 50% of all UFC assets. It also said that every other demand was agreed to as far as pay, other fighting rights, advertising, etc. If this is true one could hardly blame Dana White for telling Fedor’s manager to go suck a fat one.
the fight can still take place. As soon as fedor gets a 2 sided contract from UFC he’ll fight the next day. Fedor doesn’t wanted to be treated like piece of property, which is how UFC treats its fighters. If the contract is too one sided Fedor will not agree to it. UFC should give fedor what he wants if they want him to fight Lesnar. If anything, blame Dana for only wanting what he wants fedor to do and not being fair in the terms of agreement. Blame Dana white.
