    yea i agree couture would be a great announcer for the ufc, he has done some in the past and it seem to come nature to him, no pun intended lol. it would be cool if in a couple years after strike force has grounded it self a little better they can have some joint ppv events almost like grand pre’s from pride, were they mix the two brands once a year and come up with some really interesting match ups, but who even knows if strikeforce will even last that long

    I hope he does man. If anyone can set an example it’s Couture. He’s gone past everyone’s expectations, and that’s great cuz it’ll give him the opportunity to call it when he feels it. I just hope he doesn’t wait to long until he’s forced out. He’d do so much as an example to show guys there’s no shame in it. Especially when they can still be a part in MMA. Theres always jobs involved in sports~even MMA that they could be a part in it. I’d like couture and Rogan as commentators. that be sweet.

    yea seems that the only sport you see true retirment in is hockey, ufc you see chuck commin back, football its brett farve, on so on. i can see randy couture retire after his next couple fights he will take a good beating or give one then call it quits at that age u just need to call it or youll end up like ken shamrock lol

    I really like Dan too. They both should have tried harder I think. Course, we don’t know what Dana offerred or what Dan demanded I guess. On the other hand, maybe Dan figured he might make a bigger stamp on his carreer trying to work his way up in strikeforce for the end of his carreer. I would have like to have seen him retire in the UFC. Come to think of it, when do people officially retire? It seems like they just dissappear or get cut. I’d like to see official retirements after fights.

    yea i can see where hes commin from, still feel that hendo is a very strong asset to the ufc, expecially being that he’s the only on how truly gave silva a run for his belt. bet it is a business and you have to make tought decisions like this at times. no the less hendo will make a huge mark in strike for and i look forward to seeing him in the near future

    @ThirdEye871
    I’ve thought about it after this interview. He stood by dan after losing to quinton and silva in a row, and now he’s like, “I just knocked out bisping, and I want this much money or I’m going to accept this offer from strikeforce. ” Like a threat. He’s not as desperate for hendo as strikeforce (no disrespect) and strikeforce was willing to pay. I think Dana might have felt like it was a dick move and told him if he did it he wouldn’t be welcome back. Thats only an idea though.
